  1. Always interesting to hear what others think about our club. Sorry the atmosphere is a bit crap but it's pretty much standard stuff wherever you go now. PS. It's not pronounced Foss-ay
  2. Which are the family stand blocks now? Just P2 and P3? So, you don't need an u16 to go in P1?
  3. Not sure that anyone is getting het up. Call it what you want. I'll stick with maths thanks.
  4. Turned out nice again.
  5. Foxes Hub audio gone down again?
  6. I do that often especially when we need a goal. I gave Daka a slagging off to the bloke that sits next to me on Saturday and, sure enough....!!!
  7. Wonder what they first thought Vardy's injury was. Glad it's not worse, whatever it was. Do we know what's up with Nacho and Yunus? Another hamstring for McAteer?
  8. It's not all Family Stand behind that goal now, is it? Which blocks is it now, the two next to M?
  9. Only about 6 or 7 clubs are ever established in the Premier League. All of the rest are only ever one bad season away from the drop.
  10. Doesn't seem to be the case anymore. Puma had a redesigned engine in 2019 using a timing chain instead of the wet belt system. I'm looking for one about 12 months old. Mrs Spud has a 2016 Fiesta with the 1.0l Ecoboost engine which I'm wondering whether to ditch now as it has a wet belt. Bloody good engine, though.
  11. Not entirely. We now know that it's not planning issues delaying the start. Up to the club to decide on timings. Probably too much to ask those in King Power Towers to give us an update. Anything, even just a hint, would be nice.
  12. Seriously thinking of finally trading in my BMW 1 Series coupe. It's 118d, 62 reg with 67,000 miles clocked up. It's been mostly decent, especially on runs up to see the City play (145 miles each way) but due to recent repair bills I've lost confidence in it's reliability. Probably be brilliant for the next owner considering the new parts it now has. Looking at online reviews I've now short listed a Ford Puma. Anyone got one or had experience of one?
  13. Took Mrs Spud to only her third ever match yesterday. She was well impressed with those in SK1 and couldn't belive how they kept the energy going non-stop for the whole match.
  14. Roy Cropper.
  15. We don't score many goals from outside the box anymore. I can only think of Winks at QPR this season?
  16. Yeah but Monday night, ffs.
  17. I'm missing so many home games this season due to all this moving about. Getting near impossible to support the club as a travelling fan. I'd have thrown the towel in by now if it wasn't for my lad pursuading me to keep our season tickets. Shite.
  18. I'm quite enjoying going into games not knowing anything about the opposition. More surprises than being in the PL when everything is already known.
  19. ... and we had card board cut out Holloway masks. Wasn't it great in those days .... and we lost.
  20. I think that he just wanted a kiss. Some of them don't get much love.
  21. Got a dirty Leeds fan in the office (obviously not from Leeds or have any connection with the city) but keeps a keen eye on us as rivals. First thing he said to me on Monday was how dodgy our keeper is. I rate Mads but some of his distribution has been reckless in recent matches with WBA being a good example. He got away with it again but it's really going to cost us big time unless he tightens it up. I appreciate that style will give the very occasional goal away but he's providing too many chances to tip the odds to make it worthwhile. Enzo's coaches will be working on it so hoping for some improvement.
  22. Can't help with the parking question but know what you mean about drivers having no respect for others vehicles. I will always try to park away from entrances to shops etc finding a space amongst a row of empties. Just as much as I need to get my door wide open as I've got a dodgy back. Weird though how some people still feel the need to park right up against your drivers door when there's 5 empty spaces to their right. Not sure why they do that, but it's definately a thing.
  23. How many times have we heard that! Virtually every team we have played at home this season have gone full on bus parking, spoiling, time wasting etc etc. We know what to expect and it's down to us to deal with it. Usual pattern is a very cautious first half where we have 70% possession (90% against Stoke!) and then step it up in the final 20 mins. Hope that Plymouth do try to make a game of it just for something a bit different. Make sure that you make some noise to wake us up. Cheers.
