Some might want King Power OUT but don't necessarily think it makes for a good banner. Far too simplistic and won't provoke a conversation. TOP ambitions? Wrong decisions.
-
What's a 'major' trophy? If it includes Euro trophies then I don't think the one that West Ham won can be counted as major.
-
Just catching up with all this banner stuff and I think that @Qwerty is right. 'King Power Out' is just not clever enough and will provoke a similar reaction to when Claudio was sacked x10. 'Top ambitions; Wrong decisions', is the way to go.

So keepers x 2, strikers x 1 Ward, Iverson, Vardy Plus the loans, Eduoard, Buonnotte. That's it. We are stuck with the rest of these losers as no other club will take them (apart from Mads and even his value his dropped). What a fun season it's going to be. Sorry, that's not cheered you up.
-
Could be interpreted as a valid response given that Vardy has won more than those singing it.
-
I can only believe it was a sympathetic response. There were loads of Man Utd sleepers and half n half scarfers all over (3 on the row in front of me) that were applauding at the end and quietly singing along with their songs (although didn't celebrate the goals). Assuming season tickets resold. It was torture played out to that monotonous Man U song over and over. It was worst than hearing Everton.

Development/Youth Squads 2024/2025 Thread - U18/U21

Co-commentator, don't know his name but was described as a West Ham legend, at one point likened him to George Best! and best opposition player he had seen this season. Sadly, just can't get excited about a young player that, it seems, has no future with our club. If he's going then give another lad a chance. -
Worth going just to see history in the making.

There was even talk about us ruining the English coefficient and subsequent loss of a place for Premier League clubs. We will be an embarrassment, they said

The UCL also started in 1992. Same physical trophy design with the right to be called European Champions. However, the format isn't the same so a different competition. The old European Cup format being knock out and was actually easier to win than the FA Cup. The Notts F fans like it when that's explained to them
-
Nope, completely accurate. Notts F have NEVER played in the UCL. It's been a different competition since 1992. Love it when you explain it to them

That's triggered a few up the road

Not how I remember that day. Bit of a throw back pre-match to the days of balloons and ripped up paper. I remember the Hume goal mainly as the Kop actually wobbled, jelly legs all around. It was ultra tense given the circumstances which, after the penalty miss, succumbed to vitriol, abuse and thrown season tickets (paper in those days, kids). Obviously an empty gesture as it was the last match but a point was made. Wasn't flat where I was.

Traditionally, LCFC fans come from the city (rough necks) whereas the Rugby posh boys from the county. That's what my old man and Grandad used to tell me. My Dad used to hate it when the Tigers were at home the same Saturday afternoon as City as they kicked off early (no floodlights) and they clogged up the Cattle Market with their Range Rovers. Never liked Rugby (or rugby fans), ever.

Or 'You can't even read, you can't even reeeeaaad, you thick bastards, you can't even read '.
-
We had become complacent by then and a game against Watford isn't going to stir the passion. Notts F are still in the honeymoon period. Most of their fans have never witnessed success.
-
Bristol City fans mostly think the team are doing well despite Manning. All credit being given to the players. We must be able to attract better.

I think we lost our way during the Puel era that was so boring after what we had been used to. It continued during the Rodgers possession based system eventhough it was mostly successful for a couple of seasons. We've forgotten how to create an atmosphere.
