We owned them, that day. All pubs and roads leading to Wembley were awash with blue n white. You couldn't see a Derby scarf or flag outside the stadium as the team buses worked their way through the crowd. The media thought it a formality that multi-million pound Derby would cruise it. But it was always going to be our day, you could feel it in the air. One of the best football days, ever.

I think the Cov thing intensified (from their side) quite recently after we won the FA Cup. That was the only thing they could batter us with "you've never won a 'proper' cup". Always been a pathetic non-club that once got lucky 37 years ago. I don't care enough to hate them.

Loads of bands had 'their' crowd's rocking. I don't listen to Idles but I enjoyed the first couple of times seeing there raw energy and passion. Almost mesmerising. However, I found them unnecessarily borish at last years Glastonbury. It put me off. Seen enough.

I thought that must be a mistake when I saw that. Wasn't sure if they were still in business. No shows for over three years. This would be the only reason why I'd want to go to Glastonbury. Just hope they show the full set on TV. ....and Wet Leg. Thought they'd given up as well.

Sadly, I won't be able to catch the Musical Box on what might be their last ever tour to the UK. Really wanted to go to the DeMontfort Hall show recreating the Genesis Live gig that spawned part of the album. Missed it back in the day which became one of my musical regrets.

So many times we see the goal scorer being allowed to delay the restart as he casually walks back as everyone waits. It's almost an unwritten rule that it's part of the reward to receive individual adulation. Not always seen by the armchair viewers as they are being treated to endless replays. Perhaps that's the reason, all stage managed for the broadcasters.

It's always felt that officials play a leading role in the time wasting panto. They are often as guilty as the players.
