Decent source though to be fair...

Can't wait for the guy behind me in the ground to call him Barry Al Kansas or some idiotic stuff like that

I like his sense of humour. To add to his good appearance record.

Ipswich buy him for £25m.

Is Andersen available for them? -
Excited for next week. Then sign an absolute dud on deadline day...
-
Has the deal not gone through yet? What are the club waiting for?! This is a joke! We should move on to other targets...

Marc Guiu missing this for Chelsea

Sounds like investigation already took place anyway.

Disingenuous to say someone's name correctly? Isn't it disingenuous to say it incorrectly It's just respectful, isn't it? Can't just have it our way just because it's English. England's way isn't always the best

I am quite healthy. Sorry Georgey boy.

Hattrick coming up vs Southampton. Shame there's no Sheff Utd to bag against though...

Up against not being able to spend like other clubs and whack £30-40m on one player. So the alternative is to be shrewd with transfer fees, not to mention wages. Is Ayew going to come cheap on a 2-3 year contract? I very much doubt it. If anything it's just acknowledgement that I know he can be used in response to it. I agree Vardy is the perfect example. But for every Vardy, there's probably about 4 or 5 players (or more) that could be used as examples of players who did fall off a cliff...
-
I literally just said you can't use Vardy in response 'usually' anyway. Not saying it's impossible for players to still flourish afterwards.

' BBC News understands his contract was terminated earlier this week, because of alleged issues relating to workplace behaviour. It followed allegations involving digital communications such as texts, which were raised with the corporation a few weeks ago.'

Not comparable, in my opinion. Defenders generally can play up to about 35/36 and still be quite useful. £3m for him was fine. Ayew at up to £8m is just not comparable. How many years of good service are we likely to get out of him? 1? At a strong push, 2. Forwards/wingers usually dwindle after 31/32? Can't use Vardy in response as he's just a phenomenon . I've not got a problem with Ayew himself, my frustration is more at the club for the financial outlay on him when we're already up against it.

I would imagine it's more than that?

Comparably, at what costs, and wages, and age? There's a difference to being experienced at late 20s, compared to early/mid 30s...

Palace fans seem really cut up, perhaps they're just quite sentimental given how long he's been there. I just can't see why we're spending even £5m+ on him.

I am unable to lift Soumare and lob him. Apologies.

Thank fvck for that, and for avoiding this Jermaine - widely regarded as Lineker's natural successor to Match of the Day - covered this summer's Euros and commentated on Spain's semi-final victory over France on July 9th.

It probably isn't far off. Even if they're out by half a million, or even a million, it's quite a lot!
