These days I'm more surprised when the club does something right compared to something going wrong.

That's true and I'll admit I've been culpable! But for all those performances, which were decent, there's the absolute guff we've thrown up against sides like Southampton, Sheff Utd, QPR, Hull etc. The good performances sadly aren't the norm and I don't trust the group of players, or the manager, to get psyched up for this kind of game against such an attacking side.

I imagine they are 2 of the 3 players that Cifuentes has said actively want to leave the club. Good riddance.

It's gonna be absolutely grim. Early kick off on a Saturday against rivals who are top of the league looking to get back on form. Against a side low on confidence, can only rely on moments of magic from 1 or 2 players, and a defence that can keep a clean sheet for love nor money. Not to mention a manager under the cosh who doesn't know when or which changes to make at the right time. Even if we were to miraculously take a 1 or 2 goal lead, absolutely no faith we'd keep it. So yeah, not confident if you can't tell

Sadly only an option to buy but will take the positive in that he's out of our squad and hopefully one less issue to deal with therefore, and some wages off the books. One can also hope Monaco take up the option and we get a fee in summer, and wages are off permanently. Can't imagine they're low either, probably £60-70k/w? Won't miss him at all. He's become a right arsehole in the last 12-18 months. Half-arsed performances, cupping his ears to the fans after scoring. Not to mention his standard reaction after a goal is scored, even if he's at fault - arms outstretched by his waist, looking around for someone to blame. Sadly no mirrors around for the answers.

It was either Faes or Soumare. No other football club is as dumb as us to have them both in your team at the same time.
