Giving Cobb a white ball contract is a no brainer for me. We need a top order batsman for t20 and with Ahmed not being available the majority of the campaign we seriously lack spin options.

13/14 all day! Our current team would have alot more possession but would struggle to break down that defence, todays team would not be able to handle the fast counter attacks of 13/14.

I still think we need another spin option and an opening batsman. Josh Cobb could tick both these boxes. Not a regular in Northants side and still think he's got a couple of years left in him.

I'd like to see a spin all rounder come in to replace Ackermann as the only other options we have are Ahmed (who could miss games due to England commitments) and Travaskis.

We've been poor the last few games so can't say it wasn't coming. Might not be a bad thing and give them the kick up the arse they need. Just ashame it had to be Leeds!
