Depends on your background and financial status. My mums funeral cost about $9000 cdn which is around £4300 or so. I had a sikh and hindu wedding (wife is hindu) so it was costly to a point. We cut down on a lot of guests which in the indian way is impossible. But we did it. Costs in uk vs north america may be different because we do things slightly different here but lets just say it was sligtly more than triple my mums funeral for sure. Thats being conservative considering what my cousins and close friends have spent.

Im a british citizen but basically raised my whole life in canada. I thought maybe they let it slide because of that.....or maybe it was just that they felt sorry for us as we were on vacation and heading home in 5 days. Perhaps it depends on what care you receive. Outside of checking his mouth out they didnt do anything. Went home and got some paracetamol for him and dealt with it when we got back to canada. Poor guy wasnt happy for the rest of the trip.

When i was visiting my brother in england last august my son (18 months at the time) fell and cracked his tooth and gums/mouth were bleeding. Went down to the local emerg and wasnt charged for anything.

Its tough at times to watch MLS because of the lack in quality but you have to accept it for what it is. When i said before it was like league 2 football i wasnt joking. Next to the prem league its bush league. Change your expectations and you will find a reason to enjoy and support your team. For us lcfc deprived in north america its a great way to enjoy the game we love. Nothing will ever beat the prem league but gotta enjoy it
