Imagine if we’d signed him this summer, you’d think we’d found an absolute superstar!

Real 3 Nearly Signed by Leicester 2

Let’s not forget he was playing League 2 only a couple of seasons ago. Realistically he’s backup (2nd backup even) on either wing but Ruud has seen something in him that’s got him starting. You’d assume it’s workrate but he’s played his part in us getting 4pts from the last two games so fair play. Is he good enough to be a starter on the wing? Probably not. Will he ever be? Who knows. But if you’d asked me 2 seasons ago I’d have said League 2 looked his ceiling so hopefully he keeps developing and proving us wrong!

Stardate 9th Dec 2024. Coady and Vesty are our best CB pairing and we need to look into extending Soumare’s contract. Crazy times!

Things You Wish You'd Never Have To See Or Hear Again

A&E! 4hrs yesterday with my daughter and a dislocated finger and 5hrs today with my son and a dislocated shoulder. Don’t do sport kids!! -
Felt more like he just wanted to find out what his hair actually felt like! Done us a favour either way.

Plus there was the road closure which the stadium announcer informed us about 100 times in a fairly extreme tone!

It’s the way he uses his body to shield the ball and then dribble out of space that’s so impressive for a guy of his size. Never going to be a destroyer like Wilf or a ball winner like Kante but he’s got quality when he’s on it. Think the biggest question for Ruud is who starts out of him and Winks, as Wilf as CDM is still a real asset in our position. If we start getting more of the ball maybe Winks + Soumare can work, but for me right now it’s Wilf +1.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

God start, but of luck but that’s 3pts we wouldn’t have got under Cooper and a platform of positivity to build on. Dutch ovened myself when I went to bed in his honour. -

I know right, embarrassing. Everyone knows it's a Jake Paul + 2 Friends vs Logan Paul + 2 Friends, boxing vs WWE triple tag team cross over fight streamed on Netflix to prove once and for all who is the toughest #3box3 -
Odsonne Edouard joins on loan - Official

Reality is if Daka hadn’t got injured we’d have never looked at him. Didn’t look a bad signing on paper given PSR but he’s landed badly (for whatever reason) not been used, lost confidence and probably fitness and now needs moving on. Waste of money and a learning but at least it’s a loan! -

Wtf is it an 8:15 ko for, that’s horrible. Obviously a rhetorical question, not expecting you to answer!

Only thing that’s keeping me watching is the prospect of getting to see Thomas Franks ears again. -

Not getting the talk of which full back will invert into midfield. As I understand it, Enzo created the overload by inverting the FB, Ruud does it by pushing one FB to the wing then the winger on that side becomes another 10. Essentially the same 3-2-4-1 formation but achieved differently. Could well be wrong though! -

Ruud awakening for the Premier League!

All about his backroom staff now if he does come in. Feel like he needs a very good defensive coach and someone who can put their arm around the players when he’s upset them. Get these in and it could just work! -

Even Ruud’s frustrated with how long the announcement is taking, sat there with a long face apparently. -

“So there’s the contract as agreed, you just need to sign there” ”Before I sign there’s nothing I need to know about? No controversies to come out? Nothing illegal going on or financial irregularities that may impact PSR or our transfer finances?” ”Errrrr… well… errrrr… nope!” -

I’d suggest SAFs greatest strength was in his man management and Peps in his tactical understanding of the game. It’s probably easier to learn the latter as we saw last season with Enzo. -

I’ve seen it more that one FB tucks into CB the other pushes up to the wing allowing the winger on that side to become a 10. For us that’s either VK as LW and Mavididi inside or JJ as RW and you’d guess Buononatte inside. Then out of possession it’s a compact 442. Either way shame for Ricardo and you’d expect a FB to be on the shopping list in January. -

Feels like we’ve left an unhappy marriage for the hottie in accounts that we snogged at the Christmas party. She’s a bit of a looker and seems fun, but you have a niggling doubt why an attractive woman in her 30s has never had a serious relationship.- 907 replies
