Having lived in the states for nearly 10 years now, this is a culture clash that isn’t nearly spoken about enough. 20 is plenty vs whatever it costs has always fascinated me. Truth is, the average American will look at a World Cup game cost as your average match at the Yankees.
Put bluntly, there’s more to earn and spend here than the rest of the world. It’s simply going to mean a load of day trippers, corporate tickets and expats who built themselves a small fortune.
