@The_77 I would actually like to invite you to keep me honest on what I am about to write. Maybe I have been overly Americanised in my approach to work and life, or maybe not. 9 months ago my wife had a baby at the same time I was promoted and changed careers. The money is much better but it meant that after 10 days after birth, I was required to get on a plane and travel for 3 days a week around the Americas, and to be honest I’ve not stopped since then. While my wife was pregnant, I was on a work trip for 10 days in India while she gave me (rightly so) hell for the state I had put her in. As I read this incident, I genuinely cannot get my head around how completely and utterly shit this guy’s mentality is. You are quite literally the top of the top of your game, playing for an elite club and paid handsomely to do so. You are sacrificing some of the moments others don’t have to for a life they’ll NEVER have. You’re paid on the back of hundreds of thousands of people’s hard earned cash and mental livelihood. If it isn’t for you Harry, that’s fine, but the life you chose does not afford you the luxury you crave. Not least that but he’s also pulling stunts online to make his point. That, after the sign debacle during the Christmas party. It’s now just pure piss taking. Out of all of us.
