Bluefoxtim Posted 1 September 2005 Posted 1 September 2005 Haha, after the rather strange and somewhat annoying comments made by the commentators I sent a message to Jon Barber (radioleicestersport) telling him about it, here is the reply: Hi Tim, Thanks for the comments - the Leicester Crewe comment was mine - got a bit carried away - don't make too much of it though - you say a lot of words in 90 mins, and commentating off the top of your head, when a goal is hammered home is not the easiest thing to do -try it when you're sat in the stands! Also, the comment about the players names - even Craig calls Gerrbrand with a soft G - if you speak to the player he'll tell you it's a hard G. Cheers Got carried away, Matt Jones certainly does! GOAL woohoo yeah!!!

Well said mate,he and McAllister joined together and the fans loved em both. Haven't heard his commentating but i can imagine!
