weller54 Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Surely if Cambiasso stays he MUST be the Captain next season?.. If not, Huth? (if we sign him of course!).
TOMBlcfc Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Nige would never take it off Morgan and neither should he, let Huth and Cambiasso have leadership roles but captaincy needs to be consistent and I see nothing wrong with Wes being captain
Unabomber Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Morgan has a bit of dirt on Nige and uses it as leverage to retain that much sought after captaincy.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Since Huth come in, Morgan has looked a lot better... he will stay captain but Cambiasso is the one that really organises the team
Guest LCFC_World Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 I think Cambiasso, Huth and Morgan all contribute towards a 'captains' role, but Morgan just wears it because someone has to.
Unabomber Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Also Morgan's arms are pretty big so if Cambiasso had it it would prob fall down, I guess he could wear it around his head?
Haydos Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 A club captain does a hell of a lot more than just play 90 minutes of football a week. No reason to change it at this point, and no reason to give it to Cambiasso when it's clear he doesn't need it and might only be here for one more season. I'm sure Morgan does a great job in this role, the whole team constantly exudes togetherness and I'm sure he plays his part in that.
Fox92 Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Club captain should remain Morgan but we need to start buying better players to push on so the team captain would be somebody else.
katieakita Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Thought you lot knew about football, the obvious choice is Wasy. He would just tell the ref its head and choose what he likes also breaking the other teams captains hand with the handshake, no brainer.
Max Power Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Doesn't matter who tosses up before the game, as long as we have leaders on the pitch and in the dressing room. Huth and cambiasso will always be leaders
