I watched James Pearson against Shrewsbury in the league cup, and he was hopeless, i also seen him in a couple of under 21 games, and he wasn`t much better, and yet he was made captain of the under 21s, why do you think that was? He was about to be offered a new contract by our club, despite not really looking like he was of the desired standard, why do you think that was? Nigel Pearson being sacked will have probably kept James Pearson in football at a biggish club, because when his Dad inevitably gets another club, there must be a fairly decent chance that part of Nigel Pearson agreeing to go to his next club, will be with the proviso that his son James is allowed to sign for them too.
