I also had a one-eyed golfing partner we nicknamed "cyclops" who went out of bounds once and failed to see his brand new motorised golf trolley run 50 yards across the fairway, down a bank and into a stream in full flood. the thing never worked again.

Tomassi Posted 5 September 2005 Posted 5 September 2005 had so many nicknames but most have been temporary.. in my old cricket team i was called Stumpy.. because everytime i was put into bat i would hit the stumps with my bat didnt get many runs me when i started at leicester college doing photography i was called Jude by my new class mates as i had the haircut from the film 'alfie'. got rid of that quickly. in primary school class mates changed my name to 'the measureman' thankfully this has not transcipted into adulthood 'Measures' will always be there and so will Tomassi
