Guest Col city fan Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Letting fans vote via the internet and social media is a complete waste of time. The bigger clubs - Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool - are going to have more "fans" that will vote. Completely agree with this. It IS a waste of time. The only thing I would say is that Sanchez HAS been very very good. But it's still a waste of time.
MPH Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Don't want him winning the real one either. He'll no doubt not score for a month and everyone will say how crap he is....

boots60 Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 You have to play for a BIG team to win player of the month. Personally I think one of Terry / Ivanovic / Hazard should have won it. Their performances last month gave me a great deal of pleasure.
NotTheMarketLeader Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 It's voted for by fans, it's nothing more than a prize for the best supported team... rendering the whole thing a load of shit. This
ThaiFox Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 You forgot Sunderland... They need a decent player first!
Leicester_Numan Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 The fan vote is ridiculous, people will only vote if a payer from their team is in it and then the bigger team will get more votes. If Mahrez gets nominated he has the backing of the whole of Algeria/French Algerians if the LCFC Facebook is anything to go by. Mahrez was nominated for fans player of the month for August and didn't win it so that's nothing to go by.
Xen Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Mahrez was nominated for fans player of the month for August and didn't win it so that's nothing to go by. Fans player of the month didnt happen in August. September was the first. Mahrez was nominated for the PFA Player of the month, which is voted for by a panel (who also overlooked Vardy in Sept)

Mahrez was nominated for the PFA Player of the month, which is voted for by a panel (who also overlooked Vardy in Sept) I know who was nominated for player of the month and didn't win it as every Leicester fan should and I know it's voted for by a panel, I'm not one of the people confusing the two. The point was that Mahrez was nominated for fans player of the month and didn't win it so it was probably September then. The nominations do seem to be a month behind where they should be. I was going to vote until I saw all the information they wanted just for that. The "I can't be bothered with it" side of me won. Probably why Sanchez won despite not even being their best player last month, Arsenal fans do seem to love internet voting, the majority of us can't be bothered.
