I've watched a few Gladbach games on TV and he's always impressed me when I've seen him. Been linked with him a few times as well which suggests there maybe something in this.

After reading that he's been played as a utility player then his stats are pretty much meaningless. You can't judge him as central MF when he's played a significant amount of games at RB & CB.

All you've got to do is take a look at all the games where he's played as a central (defensive) midfielder and then break it down into averages, just like you always do. D'oh.
