my bet is still on £7.30 to win the league at 2000-1, we are second, from what i have seen so far this season i have the belief we can take this league, we've had 2 defeats against good team's and we've taken those defeats on the chin and got the **** on with it

Why did you not take 5000/1? Or did you place this on after the start of the season?

i put it on after the west ham game.... only because i usually never bet on us to win any league, but after the end to last season and what i saw in those first two games, i thought "now is the time", its not we were winning games, but how we were winning them and what i saw from the players, how we came together and even being a goal or two down, we still wanted the game to be ours.

even the fact being a goal infront we were not trying to sit back, we wanted more and more even 2 goals up we still want more, this is why i think we'll do it, we're not getting deflated after a loss or a goal goes in against us, i mean look at the arsenal game, we fought till the bitter end :D

edit, paddy power wouldnt let me bet more than £7.30 either for some reason as i was gonna put a tenner on it... maybe they saw the same things i was seeing and didnt want them to bankrupt themselves :D

Great time to follow city, think back to the years of crap and you have to smile. My dad and brothers never followed sport so it was down to my uncle to bring me up following City. As a youngster he used to drive down to Cheltenham pick me up and drive up to the game and in the days of Mclintock that was a long journey. He has been dead 20 yrs now and think he looks down and is smiling. Happy days indeed

Here's my infographic at the halfway point. Worth noting that 72 points is typically what is needed to achieve a 4th place finish. Yes our pro-rata tally would be 78, but it's foolish to assume we won't have a bad patch.

Think about how you felt when that Watford goal went in.

If only we'd had known.

The last three years have been remarkable. It seems as though the players have a bad/ rough experience (losing a play-off in dramatic fashion, near certain relegation rescued) and the next year is being as far away from that as possible.

We have fantastic characters in this squad that don't dwell on negatives.

We're SECOND in the Premier League on goal difference at the half way stage.

We're 8 POINTS clear of fifth place and have a genuine and realistic chance of qualifying for the Champions League for the first time in our history.

We've exceeded everybody's expectations and people are respecting us and taking us seriously for the first time I can remember in 35 years.

These are heady days and we should all take stock and recognise what an amazing achievement this is.

Whatever happens, we should be grateful and proud of our wonderful team right now..

We are - at least I certainly am. Proud beyond all expectation. But we've achieved nothing tangible yet and being second - or top - doesn't stop me wanting us to keep improving in every way possible.

Indeed it is making so many detailed improvements and showing so much acted-on ambition that has awakened the sleeping giant that is Leicester City and put us where we are.

I was even delighted to see the Leicester Ladies were top of their League and blazing  a trail in attack. It all counts, every bit of it from the youngest age group team to the top and every aspect in between.

Anyone else know people still writing us off.. speaking last night and one bloke reckons we will finish 9th, the other outside the top 10. How is this still possible, im quite negative in terms of where we will finish but surely you would not think we would have such a stinker second half of the season. Maybe a hint of jealously.

For those thinking we will struggle to get a top 10 finish Liverpool finished 6th last year with 62pts, we need 23 pts for that so a 2nd half on a par with WBA start to this season.
