coalvillefox Posted 19 January 2016 Posted 19 January 2016 Hi all, Looking to get my brakes replaced, can anyone recommend a Garage in Leicester? Cheers
Fox92 Posted 19 January 2016 Posted 19 January 2016 Must be early, I misread that as "can you recommend a plane to get new brakes".
kingcarr21 Posted 19 January 2016 Posted 19 January 2016 I take my car to Glenfield Autocare on Dominion Road. Prices have always been fair. They're always busy which says a lot.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 19 January 2016 Posted 19 January 2016 Forest Hill auto centre are good. They've got a Facebook page and pretty much all of the reviews on there are rated as 5 stars. Bit of a way out depending on where you live but if you've got Facebook it might be worth taking a look. EDIT: Every review is rated 5 stars.
Wymsey Posted 19 January 2016 Posted 19 January 2016 National Tyres and Autocare, Kwikfit, Pirelli, Walker's Tyres, Mr Tyre Ltd, Jocks Tyre Service, ETS.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 19 January 2016 Posted 19 January 2016 Based on customer feedback so a good starting point: http://www.goodgaragescheme.com/ My garage is a member and although they're far from perfect they are honest and don't knowingly rip you off. I'd give the likes of Kwikfit a wide berth, personally
potter3 Posted 19 January 2016 Posted 19 January 2016 London Road garage in Coalville is good, if your username is still relevant.
The Quick Brown Fox Posted 19 January 2016 Posted 19 January 2016 Euro car parts and do them yourself, I didn't have a clue how to do it but you tube and Google made it simple. It really is easy, took me about 15 minutes each brake and like I said that's with no experience. If you get on YouTube and watch the video first you'll see just how easy it is.

I changed mine last month and sheared 2 bolts off trying to remove the wheel as they had been tightened up previously with an airgun. If you know what your doing yes it's easy enough, but if you've got no previous experience I'd reccomend a garage. Brakes aren't something to mess about with if you don't know what your doing.
DeclanMC Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 I bought my own parts from Parkers and took them to F1 Autocentres on Abbey Lane. Think I got my front pads and discs replaced for £117 all in.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 Get a new pair of plimsoles, buddy, but they don't sell them at a garage
