Only really need a court I guess but don't want to pay any more than a few quid for the privilege. Reccomendations would be swell.

The Methodist hall in Syston has it, which might be a bit far for you. I'd guess there'd be other church halls around the county though.

Me and the Mrs went to Aylestone Leisure Centre last month to play badminton. Cost £7 or £8 for the court for an hour. We booked the court in advance, 11am-12pm, got there at 10:50am and spent 20 mins in the queue. One person on the desk. Just before 12pm hit, a member of staff just started taking our net down midway through a game, this was before rudely telling us our time is up and she has a class booked. I went to complain to the receptionist, but again, the queue was horrendous.
