The Unknown Posted 6 February 2016 Posted 6 February 2016 So to start, I understand that when I was younger you could rock up to the training ground and get a book full of Leicester players autographs. I'm assuming this isn't as straightforward now that we are the rulers on the BPL and taking over the world! I have my 6 week old sons first Leicester shirt that I would love to get signed by a few players but no idea on the best way to approach it...any ideas or suggestions?
Foxy1984 Posted 6 February 2016 Posted 6 February 2016 Head to the KP before a match. Most players were happy to stop and sign when i did it a couple of years back. There are some barriers near the players entrance. Can't remember what time they have to arrive by.

It was my first thought but wasn't sure how willing they would be just before a game!
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 6 February 2016 Posted 6 February 2016 I used to go a couple of years ago with my kids and most of the players were happy to sign or pose for a picture. Usually used to be there for about 1pm on a match day.
foxile5 Posted 6 February 2016 Posted 6 February 2016 Alternartively you can wait after the game, they take an hour or so to come out usually, but there is always a little more freedom of access, especially if we've won!
Bamba's Babes Posted 6 February 2016 Posted 6 February 2016 They arrive around midday or something now under Claudio. They have brunch together at the stadium.
The Unknown Posted 6 February 2016 Author Posted 6 February 2016 Thanks for all the help! Much appreciated!!
Matt Posted 6 February 2016 Posted 6 February 2016 Take it/send it to the club reception? Now I know it would mean level of confidence of leaving it with them/them returning it, but I reckon they be pretty honest and give you some form of reciept and I reckon they'd get the job of signing it done.
trickytrevbenjamin Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 Has anyone been the training ground in recent times? Would like to get a few photos signed to put up. Guessing it's easier to ask players on their way out than in. Does anyone know roughly what time they usually finish or how accomdating they are to fans asking for signatures at the training ground?
Rob1742 Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 Think they rock up anywhere between 9.30 and 10.00. Think they are happy to park up then pop outside the training ground to sign stuff. It has all changed and the days of watching the sessions etc are long gone. Not sure what time they leave, but they have lunch there and so leaving could be quite scattered and so probably best to get them on the way in. But I think it is much better to go to the ground on a match day. Much easier I would have thought.
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 I was told last night that major autograph dealers from Manchester/London etc have been rocking up a lot lately
trickytrevbenjamin Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 Thanks for the info. Will try the training ground first and wait after if have no luck. It is a shame that it isn't as open these days but I guess there would be fairly large crowds these days with everyone constantly videoing on their phone!
