Well the Avs just choked it. All that hard work during the season to win the president trophy, win 2 rounds of playoffs and they end up getting swept by the knights 🤦‍♂️

Maybe, but I think in the end the marner situation with the the leafs was way different, he was a superstar that the team/fans expected to do superstar things in playoffs and he just wilted, also the leafs were built poorly, and they kept just kept running it back.

 

I don’t think the Vegas team/ fan base expectation on him are that high, so he is free from that burden and just lighting it up.

Can we just acknowledge Norway reaching the semis in the World Cup, emulating Denmark last year? Awesome that we get to see smaller nations (in Ice Hockey terms) upset the world order. Latvia and Germany too. 

Also a tip of the hat to Switzerland who are maybe the strongest team on average over the last couple of years. Would love to see them finally win their first major tournament at home

Well habs got slapped but im not surprised. If you told me we would make it to the conference finals before the playoffs  started i would have snapped your hands off.

 

Proud of how well they did but clearly jut not good enough.

Hopefully the young guys didn’t get upset by the boo’s and yelled at by their own fans to shoot the puck during game 4, hopefully the fans don’t throw garbage on their front lawns and bombard them with negative messages.
