That being said, I'd love to see the Oilers win, especially for McDavid who needs his Cup win.

Losing Hyman though will hurt the Oilers chances, especially since he's the type of player Edmonton need against the physicality(dirty play) of Florida.

I've never liked the Habs. Partly due to when I was a little kid they won the Cup every year and from living in the Toronto area.

 

There's always a lot of their supporters around here though.

Also down to the rivalry between Trohno and Montréal.

 

And the Leafs have the odd ability to cock it up in post-season every single time.

On a serious note, nothing against the French-Canadians. My favourite player ever is Super Mario. The reason why I follow the Pens up to this day.

Agree with what you are saying, but 32 years is a long time, I would just like to see a Canadian team win it at least one time. Hopefully oilers can win it.

Have to give the Panthers credit, back to back Cups is pretty impressive.

 

They've just got such a great all around lineup and are impossible to beat in a 7 game series.

Fair play to the Panthers, their line depth is unbelievably strong.

 

Oilers stuck with too many players that they won’t be able to shift due to the ridiculous contracts they hand out (sounds familiar!)

Montréal, Ottawa, Trohno, Winnipeg. Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver – you're such letdowns.

Yeah, another season done and still no cup for Canada, but I see some hope.

 

In Montreal case, feel like they can build on this season, they just brought in that Russian defender.
 

In Toronto case, with Marner leaving hopefully they can invest that money wisely, unless Mcdavid wants to come home, save up cap space and spend it on him.

 

In Winnipeg case, if hellybuck can just play in the playoffs like he does in the season they have a shot.
