Guest MattP Posted 12 February 2016 Posted 12 February 2016 Get back to me when the Tories have a black woman as leader. Doubt I'll still be alive though. Get back to me when Labour manage to find a female leader of any colour. Doubt I'll still be alive though.
Guest Posted 12 February 2016 Posted 12 February 2016 Unlikely for any party while black people are so badly under represented in parliament I should think. Exactly, perhaps MattP will call you Gary Glitter or soemthing.
Guest Posted 12 February 2016 Posted 12 February 2016 Get back to me when Labour manage to find a female leader of any colour. Doubt I'll still be alive though. Ah! Because I disagree with your Right wing views you think I'm saying labour will be any different. Labour have been pathetic too.

I hope Labour go for Diane Abbott, I think she could be an amazing leader who would really tackle the issues effecting swing voters and middle England.

Strokes Posted 12 February 2016 Posted 12 February 2016 Why the obsession with a black leader Fif? Do you think pritti Patel is the best candidate or would you rather better candidates get discriminated against to tick boxes. I'm confused by your behaviour?

Do you think pritti Patel is the best candidate or would you rather better candidates get discriminated against to tick boxes. I'm confused by your behaviour? Did you read the thread I quoted or just jump on my post? MattP stated that Priti Patel had a good chance (enough to put money on) of becoming the next Tory leader. As regards your question I have no idea if Pritti Patel is the best candidate, I couldn't even tell you if she has nice legs. The "best" candidate (not quite sure what criteria you suggest I use) is unlikely to get the position unless they are a white middle aged man. Finally, to go back to Mattp's recent post about Labour - I thought this thread only conerned the Conservative party given it's thread title but maybe I shouldn't be surprised.

You didn't quote anything in your original bizarre outburst. What has having nice legs got to do with anything, you can be a prat sometimes.
katieakita Posted 12 February 2016 Posted 12 February 2016 Get back to me when Labour manage to find a female leader of any colour. Doubt I'll still be alive though. Well the last one was a big girls blouse and was not even the best politician in his family
Nick Posted 12 February 2016 Posted 12 February 2016 If the cons appointed Gove. They'd lose the next election. I'm all for it.

Stadt Posted 12 February 2016 Posted 12 February 2016 Party Chairman, widely seen as the man who ignored and failed to act on the bullying scandal. Ah right, I should have known who is he really
Webbo Posted 12 February 2016 Posted 12 February 2016 I would like it to be Osborne or Gove. Two men with an absolutely toxic appeal to the general public who would guarantee defeat for the Tories at the next election. Might leave the floating voter with a bit of a quandary if Corbyn is still Labour leader by then. There were a couple of even more improbable names on the list. I remember John Whittingdale as a student politician. Faceless, characterless and devoid of opinion. Beats me how he ever got so far up the political greasy pole. And Anna Soubry, shrill and hysterical when confronted by anyone who doesn't agree with her. Perhaps Colin W.anker should consider entering politics. I think you're confusing your opinion with public opinion.
Guest MattP Posted 12 February 2016 Posted 12 February 2016 Shhhhhh Webbo, all the floating voters will have a huge quandary if Corbyn is still there. He was at a Hillsborough memorial service today, he's nailing those swing seats.
Rincewind Posted 12 February 2016 Posted 12 February 2016 I think you're confusing your opinion with public opinion. Do I ount as public?
Guest Posted 13 February 2016 Posted 13 February 2016 I think you're confusing your opinion with public opinion. It's easy to do.
