More importantly it shows things are going in the right direction, maybe East Midlands trains will stick the football specials on before long. Surely if every allocation is 3000 for arguments sake, Virgin Media will just give Southampton £30,000 to cover costs? So if my maths are right £570,000 over the course of the league season.

It is for away fans from other clubs, not Southampton fans when on the road isn't it, or have I got the wrong end of the stick?

Yeah it's for all other fans. So our tickets at St Mary's will cost us 20 quid. I haven't read anything about money off travel? Is that happening as well?

Tickets will still cost £30 when you buy them, but you'll be given £10 back when you go through the turnstiles at St Mary's. Most likely by people wearing some kind of Virgin Media branded clobber so you know who's funding that. 15 hours ago, promised land said: But how do away fans claim the discount on travel? There's no discount on travel, just £10 on your match ticket when you get to St Mary's. So it's for all away fans going to St Mary's.

sylofox Posted 10 August 2016 Posted 10 August 2016 first one through the turnstile beats the crap out of them and gets 30k.
