Bert Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 So you can make every away next season for a maximum of £570. It's a start, and you have to start somewhere.
AKCJ Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Would like to see us set the price at £20 for everyone whether you're Burnley or Man United.
kyleolly Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 So you can make every away next season for a maximum of £570. It's a start, and you have to start somewhere. Will Arsenal still be charging there fans £1000 for a season ticket?
Maybes Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 But what about the fans stuck on 107 points? They'll never be able to get tickets now...
Voll Blau Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Little victories. Hopefully they'll keep coming down but this is a great win for everyone who's campaigned over the past few years (and those who didn't too). Home ticket prices next please!
purpleronnie Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Will Arsenal still be charging there fans £1000 for a season ticket? Nah, it'll probably go up.
adam Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Hmm still not 20 quid though is it and it basically means all the tickets will be 30 quid so some clubs are gonna charge more than they do now even with this ridiculous TV deal. It does stop some clubs ripping people off though so it's not too bad .

If this hadn't come in you can bet your life that we would be spending way more than an average of £30 per away game next season.
Captain... Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Good news for us as I reckon next year they would be putting their prices up for our games seeing as we will be reigning champs.
4ever and ever Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Arsenal knocking a further £4 off each ticket too. Hope we at least follow suit.
4ever and ever Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 For the club itself to knock off a further £10 per game it would only cost £475k for the whole season (based on average 2,500 away allocation) this is what we should push for.
4ever and ever Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Just to note, this new deal replaces the "away initiative" of £200k given to each club. Which I believe we use on subsidising coach travel. I could be wrong on that though.
promised land Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 So you can make every away next season for a maximum of £570. It's a start, and you have to start somewhere. Demand for aways next season will be higher than ever then.
willie-bell-in-rothley Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Great news, some prices like the West Ham £25 last season £45 this season were a little bit out of order, no reason given and nothing more received. profiteering,

I could be wrong on that though. Part of it is yes, but don't they also use it for the vouchers, t shirts, gammon cobs etc? As its all into the away days. Coach travel back up to £20 then.
Corky Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Very good news and takes away the ridiculously exploitative categorisation which penalises fans of bigger clubs. Still think £25 is about right but £30 is fair enough as a top price.

I could be wrong on that though. You're right. But that only ever benefited those who used coach travel. I'm unsure on whether we used the Away Fans Initiative fund for things like free beer, t-shirts, food etc. Either way, I'd sooner have cheaper tickets each game. It's a great start. It'll be interesting to see where the club goes with our Season tickets now.

Coach travel back up to £20 then. Not sure on the second part. Think some of it is used for that but some out of clubs pockets too. I dont travel on a coach ever and think reducing ticket prices is a much fairer solution anyway.

Like you I dont know how much of free beer, t-shirts, vouchers is out of clubs pocket or out of initiative

Like you I dont know how much of free beer, t-shirts, vouchers is out of clubs pocket or out of initiative Ah ok, could be the owners funding the other stuff then. I expect horse and cart will try and undercut fox travel like they did before it was a tenner a game, at £10 to me it was a no brainer for most aways, but if it's ramped back up I wouldn't use it.

How much do Ausden charge this year? They not able to match the £10 the club are charging? If they get the volume back from fox travel they will probably be able to reduce prices again.
fuchsntf Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Question?? is 30 pound cap, for all tickets, or is there only one price. ## Another question. What other prices could the "Club" recompensate on.?
