Seeing as there's been a week of debate on CL, here's your question...

How happy or unhappy are you with Craig's performance so far? This ISN'T a poll on your feeling on the club in general so IGNORE factors such as:

Ticket prices, attendances, Henry, matchday music, match atmosphere etc...

Try to consider:

Performances and results since Craig took over, players bought and sold, the league position, your expectations after Micky Adams left, cup performances, youth development, his relationship with the fans - basically all football-related matters.

It would be interesting to get 100 votes. That might give us a representative view from this forum. No posts on this thread - just your opinion.

Then we can get back to the business of supporting the team (or not, if that's how you feel).

Oh, and if your not a LCFC fan, please don't vote, ta.

What is wrong with you? People are giving their opinion and you are criticising them for doing so.

Sorry, but I simply don't believe that you're all happy with Levein.

Okay, but why would people lie about them not being happy with him? You are certainly not afraid to hide your view of him so why would other people be?

Just asked the question, that's all. I know it's hardly scientific as non-City fans or the bloody-minded could easily interfere - still they only get one vote, though.

And until you've voted you can't see the result (unless you deliberately want to), so it shouldn't attract too much "lemming" voting.

Give it 48 hours, or a bad defeat at Wolves, and the result might alter?

You were all so quick to tell Micky he was doing a shit job, and when he went you thought everything would be rosy again. But things have gone downhill, and you're all too stubborn to admit it so you pretend he's the messiah to hide your guilt.

I have no problem with you asking the question.

Right. Since when have people claimed CL is a messiah?

If I thought CL was doing a bad job then I would want him out, but in my opinion he's doing a good job.

I liked MA, but he was doing a bad job towards the end of his time here, so I did want him to leave, and was glad that he did.

Don't generalise. ;)

I'll admit I'm slightly unhappy with Levein at the moment - and I'm the only one in that category so far. Yes certain things have improved, notably the value & age of the squad, and the introduction of promising youngsters. However, in my view the disappointing results have more than outweighed those pluses. We may have played good passing football but this has also recently gone pear shaped, with the return of long ball. But most disappointing of all is the same mistakes keep being made week in, week out. Abysmal defending from set pieces and our own corners being pathetic. And we also seem to have trouble scoring goals now that Connolly has gone. Furthermore, I am also highly frustrated by Levein's negative tactics away from home and his unwillingness to use 2 wingers on the pitch at the same time . We are restricting our attacking to one side and if Momo is off form then we don't have anything coming from the wings.

I know it's a building process and I will give Levein time to sort it out, but when the same problems keep cropping up week after week then you have to raise your concerns with the management.

I agree totally with Anish ... can't believe only 4 people (including me) out of 22 so far are worried about CL's management. He's had a year, and just not produced anything results wise on the pitch. I don't want him to go, think he could still be a good manager, and certainly better than the dross we may get, but does he need help to turn these displays into points. Something will have to change soon.

Even top half of the table seems a big ask on his current form.

Still love the City ..... just waiting for the CL explosion to start ...... and waiting ... and waiting !!

Under the circumstances, I am very happy with CL and cant see how anyone can feel other wise. unless its Chandler.

by the way does FNQ not remind everyone of someone we know.

Hmm I am fairly happy, but I worry about the future. But perhaps that would be another poll?

They are lying.

Well as someone who was a breath or two away from giving away my season ticket last year and saying farewell after 40 years of supporting City because of the absolute diabolical dross that was served up last year by a bunch of mercenary has beens and never had beens I can guarantee you 100% that I'm not lying. Sure the results are no better but as I now actually look forward to going again then I can say with all honesty I'm fairly happy.

And I'd ask you to be careful as to who accuse of lying next time, I for one am not amused.

I voted neither Happy nor Unhappy, I think Craig has a lot to learn still but this is coming, he's learning about the english game and has so far got us a side thats got the potential to do things, this will take time and instant results weren't what I was expecting like most City fans seemed to. It seems since MON's genius fans have just expected a follow on from that, sadly with what we've been through in recent seasons it doesn't quite work like that.

As for the club, its becoming a joke at the moment, empty seats, high prices and shit pre match entertainment, the place is in real need of a makeover to bring this club into the real world. If it involves sacrifices like kid for a quid just to get the ground full or something or of a respectable attendance then so be it, I just want the Club I love back, not this shadow of shit its become.

Why do you think you can read our minds FNQ? How can you POSSIBLY presume to know what we are all thinking?

Perhaps you have psychic powers?

Or maybe its because you are egotistical enough to think you can second guess a large portion of people on this messageboard?

You are entitled to your opinion as I am to mine, as is everyone else. However, to tell people that you think you know what they are thinking better then they do just makes you look like a twat.

As for me? I'm fairly happy with Levein, yes I have certain reservations about one or two of his tactical decisions, but on the whole I am fairly pleased with what is happening at Leicester right now.

Me too and I've even enjoyed going to watch the Reserves and watching our young players come through. Bloody sight better than watching the journeymen and apologists we used to have.

The place is getting a buzz now but somehow we've got to start shedding the fear. It's like a poltergeist that's got into the management and fans alike.

The club's got complexes to shed from all the years of financial and footballing failure and it's time now to put em behind us.

The pride and a distinctive style is returning - you can see it in all the teams to some extent and among the Academy players in particular.

What's really needed in the first team now is a catalyst...just someone for whom all the players want to give their all for. A Dave Mackay, a Steve Walsh, a Roy Keane. Someone whose sheer force of personality turns ability into achievement.

Has Humey got it? He's such a bubbly, wholehearted footballer. I don't know. A defender would be best. Just someone who can be an inspiration among our young players and, with the boss, convince em that their time has come to shine.

Why not have another poll asking people whether they want a poll asking how happy they are with Levein? lol

At the moment it is hard to Judge how well he's done. The squad is fairly new and one or two are just coming back from injury or are short of match fitness. There are good players at the club who should be able to do the buisness at this level. Once they get used to each other and Craig is able to put a regular side out I will reacess the situation. Until then I will say tat I'm fairly happy.

I voted 'fairly happy'. I feel Levein has sorted the club off the pitch and has a good long-term plan. Results haven't improved much, performances have improved a bit, however with the off-the-pitch stuff sorted all this other stuff will come into line.

Hmmm im more than happy to give CL the chance he deserves, why are some people hell bent on instant success it gains nothing in the short term. I can see what CL is trying to do but we need to give him time, much as I dislike Neil Warnock hes been given the time to build and create a decent team more than capable of challenging for promotion. We were going nowhere under MA, a different squad every year is not building for the future.

Although weve had some disappointing results so far this season im fairly happy with what CL is doing, Anish is correct in saying he has a lot to learn and I hope we give him time to grown and learn. We are far too big for our boots sometimes and think we deserve instant success when we need to be a bit more patient (we were spoilt under the MON years ay?) and im sure in a couple of years we will benefit from a young, up and coming manager and an exciting youth academy being given the chance to shine.
