As someone who has never lived in Leicester can someone explain to me how everyone seems to hate this bloke so much, yet he keeps getting re-elected? 

 

I work with a lot of Asian / Indian guys and they vote for him because in their words, he is the guy with brown skin. All the other candidates are middle class white guys with no connection to their community. And to quote you one of the guys at work last week "Of course he's corrupt, who cares. Why would you be in politics if you're not corrupt?"

Politics aside, I find myself hating folks who, instead of bathing in the glory of the wonderful achievement, decide to ridicule anyone who has not got 80million match day programmes and 10 club legends tattooed on their arse. Piss off with the I'm a better fan then you.

Replace Asian for Hindus, majority Sikhs I know hate him because he is corrupt, anti Sikh, a paid Indian agent whose agenda is for his paying masters.

My reaction exactly. Just the thought of such an creep bleeding publicity on the back of our club's achievements makes me sick.

 

That so many people vote for him in elections makes me shake my head and wonder about the sanity of our population.

 

But then I don't much understand Labour voters at the best of times although I do suppose the one deserves and belongs with the other these days.
