Nothing confusing about it at all really, you get the option of making one free transfer at the end of every gameweek. For example as all of the first game week fixtures have now been played you get the option of making one free transfer.Got 41 points myself in the first gameweek, Hamsik, Sigurdson and Forsberg burying their simple one on ones would've helped my points.

Like taking a player out and not knowing if they're automatically put back in if the player you subbed in for them doesn't play - main reason why it was confusing for us is because on the app (which is shite), it wouldn't add up points correctly and for some teams would include a person's points on the bench but wouldn't for others.

I had this problem, didn't realize it would score your final 11 at the end of the game week. I assumed if players had played you could sub them out and their points would still contribute to the final score. So I ended up dropping Neuer and Boatang for Rui Patricio and Dragovic...

theessexfox Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 Sitting 2nd in the iTeam one with my mates, some absolute tactical genius like chucking in Lichtsteiner (clean sheet), Pelle, Ibra captain got an assist, Iniesta and Dele Alli got assists, nice clean sheets for Buffon and Boateng too, shame Coleman didn't start Kingy.

No. You'd have had to swap Pepe in before he played. If a player starts but is on your bench, you won't get his points unless automatic subs takes place. But that would only happen if another defender didn't play at all and is able to be automatically subbed in i.e. where he is on the sub bench (1, 2, or 3) and if formation allows it.

But i'm finding the unlimited transfers a tough choice, I'm fairly happy with my team, barring Fuchs and Xhaka (The Albanian one) all my players are still in the competition, yet i've made 6 provisional changes. Not sure if i'm happy with that or not, does my team really need tinkering with that much? As i've said i'm quite happy with my team. I think i'm trying to overthink it abit. For example my original team had 10 players from 1 side of the draw, so I feel I do need to tinker with it to spread the draw out abit, with the changes i've made i've almost got 8 and 7, so split it down the middle. My worry is Belgium, the were shocking in their first game but the following 2 games seemed to sort themselves out, what Belgium is gonna turn up in the knockout stages? Cos i've got 3 Belgium my team now....

Agreed, i'm looking for the clean sheets, that's where the points come from, the only thing is, have teams been abit cagey in the group stages, will things change now it's knockout football. Favouring the top half of the draw and Belgium inparticular, but as I and you have mentioned it's whether Belgium turn up, been having the discussion with my mates who are adament they'll make the final and I disagreed because individually they have some great players, as a team, i'm not so sure - I said all this before looking at the draw but when you look at the draw it's hard to argue that won't make it to the final, there's some tricky games but they really should go far, Croatia would be the make or break game (Should they both get that far) but I feel the have enough
Matt Posted 29 June 2016 Posted 29 June 2016 Anyone done any transfers in this window yet? Anyone seen the -16 when you go into making transfers on the (iPhone) app? I've been assured it's a display issue and glitch, if you update the app it won't happen but don't fancy trying incase it does deduct me 16 points! Although I know someone using an android phone, it mentioned nothing about -16, he made transfer and he's claiming he had 16 point deducted, I think he joking/trying to wind me up. I've 3 players out of the tournament and 2 players suspended. Reckon I'll transfer the 3 players that are out + 1 more maybe, I'll keep my suspended players in because hopefully they'll make it through to the next round and then I'd want them in my team anyway,
StanSP Posted 29 June 2016 Posted 29 June 2016 my mate played his wildcard early and apparently got screwed over after the 2nd round of games. Replaced his whole team and the wildcard didn't go through properly. I'd just do it online on a laptop/tablet if possible.
