If these three players leave, as gutting as it will be, I have faith they'll be replaced by players of similar, and who knows better, ilk. Kante was always going to leave as hes the best midfielder in Europe at the moment, the big boys were always going to turn his head. Vardy will leave as it's his probable only chance to sign for a "big" club, and mahrez too I'm sure will follow suit. I actually think the only one whose move will work out is Kante. The other two will just become benchwarmers, but we should still be thanking them for unbelievable memories which last a lifetime and wishing them well. We shouldn't be hating them, they will be replaced other quality players who suit our current style and fit straight in I'm sure. We should look at Southampton as an excellent example of how to rebuild season after season after your team has been plundered by bigger fish, and actually improve. Keep the faith all, next season will still be amazing and what we've achieved this season can never be forgotten regardless of who leaves.

Because Walsh scouted him maybe? I thought only Benny was a Ranieri signing? (Maybe Gray too)

Anyway, the problem I see is if we lose three then we need at least three just to stand still and we already knew we needed another three or four for next season. So that means we would need seven!! Bringing seven players into a squad (with three of them being crucial replacements) is not likely to end well.

£80m return on £7m of investment is incredible business... but would still feel like a disaster

Hopefully we can get the real Slim Shady in quickly to replace Vardy and then Mahrez stays and Kante stays... and we restock our shirts and sell tons more to Algeria.

No team loyalty in football any more. I'm not having a go at Vardy about that, it's just how it is now.

With the money available from the bigger clubs and the rise of the agents, footballers are just commodities moved around between clubs. It is even the case with managers now. Look at Alan Stubbs leaving Hibernian after winning the cup, becoming a hero in Edinbrugh to move to Rotherham!!

I support Leicester City, I will remember fondly the members of this team for winning us the league, something I never thought I would see in my lifetime.

However, if the same players turn up at the King Power in another teams shirts, **** 'em, they are then the enemy. I have never had a 2nd team or teams I 'don't mind', I can't stand any of them, I support Leicester City.

It is sad if Vardy, Kante and Mahrez go and yes it could have a massive effect on next season. But you know what? It's never boring supporting Leicester City.

good point! Didnt we try and sign him in August though? would Claudio be thinking about league 1 future squad players in his first month or two here? I am pretty sure we had identified gray already.
