Phube Posted 1 July 2016 Posted 1 July 2016 It seems that with about 90% of goals scored at these Euro's, the in celebration is run to the bench. I know this isn't the first time this had been done, but why the big explosion of bench running this tournament?
Larry_LCFC Posted 1 July 2016 Posted 1 July 2016 Goals really seem to mean a lot to teams in this tournament for some reason. Like more than usual. Guess they just want to share it with everybody involved.
davieG Posted 1 July 2016 Posted 1 July 2016 Perhaps to do with the realisation / notion of squad = team so half the team are on the bench.
SystonFox Posted 1 July 2016 Posted 1 July 2016 The worst celebration imho is dabbing. Has anyone "dabbed" in this tourney?

Guess they just want to share it with everybody involved. if you look at majority of times goals are scored (for the group stage at least, anyway), it's probably the realisation that X player has just won the game or salvaged a draw. Plus I agree with @@davieG about team spirit and togetherness. It amplifies it I guess.
Fox92 Posted 2 July 2016 Posted 2 July 2016 Perhaps to do with the realisation / notion of squad = team so half the team are on the bench. Well half the bench celebrated with Sturridge after his winner against Wales but against Iceland they all looked like they hate each other. I swear they don't even talk to each other.
AyewJoking Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 probably been told not to run to the fans or celebrate in front of opposing fans. or makbe just a bit of foreplay before the post match showers?
