Renart Posted 14 October 2016 Author Posted 14 October 2016 Hello to you all. I am sorry for my absence but it has been a really busy couple of weeks. As you can see from the table above the early running this season is being made by @ballsooo, who maintains his lead at the top of the table but is closely followed by @truebluethroughandthrough and @Ansteyfox. The big winner of the last round was @cambridgefox who won the Yellow Cap and moved up 15 places to seventh! So, well done to him and all of the others in the Top Ten. September has come and gone which means that I can give the award for Player of the Month to..... @limeydale, who scored a massive 28.75 points (the highest of any player) - which has helped him establish himself in the Top Ten. Right then, time to make your picks! Some tricky ones in there with the Champions away at Chelsea; Man City hosting Everton; and the big game between Liverpool and Man Utd.

Renart Posted 14 October 2016 Author Posted 14 October 2016 Right, it is about time I did a Champions League round-up. the early lead, after two games, is held by @UPinCarolina, with fuchs01 in second, but the big winner of the last round was @Devonfox1884 who not only won the Yellow Cap but also jumped 24 places to third. I also want to, begrudgingly, acknowledge @Col city fan who also had a great week last time out and jumped 18 places from rubbish to mediocre (seriously though - well done mate). Make your picks for next week.

Superbru say's I'm no Chuck Norris this week...thank heavens for that anyway, rather be Bruce Lee any day. Think I need to have a meeting with myself, say some things and get them resolved. I am absolutely shite at Champions league, just making guesses as I have no idea who most of the teams are. But I'll @Col city fan on and hope to be an @Renart by xmas.

Having said that, we do have a new leader at the top of the league with @truebluethroughandthrough moving up one place to go top and displace @ballsooo. A big shout out needs to go to both @Foxey id and @Duncan, who both move up 8 places and into the Top Ten (5th and 9th respectively). The player to score the most points and move up the most places (23) however is @ianormondroyd, whose reaches new heights with a magnificent score. Make your picks guys and girls.
Renart Posted 20 October 2016 Author Posted 20 October 2016 This is the week that @peterborofox has stamped his authority on the league by moving to the top of the pile and winning the Yellow Cap. However, @ballsooo, who is showing his judgement in both this and the Premier League, is level on points with the leader! It is as tight as anything at the top of this league. What can I say? @Col city fan (not sure why it won't let me tag him - oh well) is making his presence know by moving up 7 to 4th. Well done mate.

There has been limited movement elsewhere in the Top Ten with only one new addition which is Renart who seems to have a good week one week and then an atrocious one the next. It is sad to see Cambridgefox drop 4 to 11th but he also seems to be yo-yo-ing - so expect to see him back up there next week. The Yellow Cap this week goes to FIF - who, I think, is still band and so we can say what we like about his performance so far! Make your picks and let's shake this up a bit! Last week of October and so next week I will also give you the picker of the month!

The top three are as they were but there has been some big gains made further down the Top Ten - most notably Sky (not sure who that is on this forum - let yourself be know) jumps up 9 places to 4th and is within striking distance of the Top Three. Not far behind him in 5th is @foxesneverquit whose climb up the table sees him up seven places after a great week. The Yellow Cap this week however goes to @veezeeblue who is up 19 places to 21st from last week! With October over and done with, I can tell you that the monthly winner is... (drum role).... is ... split between sky and truebluethruandthru - neither of which I can find on here... Don't forget that it is Champions League night with an early kick off in 45 minutes times!
