Kitchandro Posted 30 August 2016 Posted 30 August 2016 Mahrez shouldn't be on direct free kicks either. He's never scored from one. Vardy needs to be taking penalties. It worked last season, why change? Failing that let's just bring Gallagher back.

It was a crap penalty, really slow tried to roll it into the corned. You could see from his run up he would miss no confidence, at the moment Marhez is way off form and lacking confidence he should not be taking them in that state of mind.

Lambert09 Posted 31 August 2016 Posted 31 August 2016 Personally think that Vardy isnt a penalty taker, could be an accident waiting to happen. But Neither was Nugent, he just used to put his foot through it and hope for the best and that worked out for him. Genuinely dont understand why we dont see Fuchs step up for them, he's debatably the best in the squad from a deadball.

To be fair to Ulloa he's probably our most composed finisher. Unfortunately for him he just can't get himself in the same positions Vardy does and doesn't do as good a support job as Okazaki.
