We've missed an awful lot of penalties lately (3 out of the last 7 if I'm correct) and I've lost confidence in Mahrez. Technique for penalties is awful, even the one he scored against Hull was crap.  I'm not even sure why Vardy isn't taking them.

on the plus side at least we are still getting bare pens. just gotta start scoring them now.

I wasnt a bad pen really, hes picked a corner and probably shouldve hit it harder but the keeper has done well there

If its policy to take players off pens when they dont score one or its a decision for the manager/players as to who takes them then thats how it'll get processed, shouldnt be a big deal.

Basically the only negative from today, the ref was abit of a tw**

When we get a penalty... I don't feel confident... Mahrez should be benched... he needs to sort his life out.

Amartey on the other hand... BEAST!!

I've not voted, because I really don't have an idea, but whoever takes it should simply smash it into the top corner.

I know it was only a friendly, but the pens against Celtic were all brilliant.

I assume Mahrez was put back on penalties this season to build his confidence/form as Claudio has said he's a confidence player. Also to keep him as happy as possible while the contract situation was ongoing. Plus Vardy skied the most recent pen last season as well. Think Claudio will go back to Vardy. No idea who the best is though.

Edit: I wonder if part of the reason for the poorly taken pen was that Mahrez has changed his run-up technique, last season he would stagger his run-up, this season he has not done that I assume because of some new PL rule about staggering run-ups? Looked to me almost like he instinctively wanted to stagger, but in the middle of the run-up realised he couldn't, and that threw him off somewhat? Or maybe he's just not very good at pens :(

I think that if they are okay too and feeling confident whoever won it takes it. That said I feel more confident with caddy than Maghreb

It's definitely Caddy for me too...

But he usually needs tea'ing up to score!

Vards.

Mahrez is a brilliant footballer and we're lucky to have him but he's a dreadful penalty taker.

We need to grow a pair and just tell him that.

bit rich that people are suggesting players who've never taken one. on the face of it mahrez should be able to take a penalty easily and put it in the side netting or the top corner. he's got fantastic technique and can strike a ball. but it's mindset as much as anything. vardy for me, or ulloa. both can score pens and both have got balls.
