Ticket Problems - Barcode not scanning

Recommended Posts

Did anyone else have issues with this tonight? First all of all having to queue for 10minutes to be searched, then only to have my match ticket refused by the turnstile (L block)

I was told by a steward to go to the sub ticket office. It was closed. Sprinted around to the ticket office. Queued up and had to get it reprinted. Missed the first minutes because of the whole debacle.

Annoying.

Hope it doesn't happen for the next two CL home games.

No, but took us about 10 minutes to get in tonight. The amount of people that simply don't seem capable of scanning a barcode is beyond belief. Certainly wasn't an issue with the ticket at the turnstile that I entered because as soon as a steward turned up the offender's tickets magically worked. Missed the Champions League music as a result.

No issues for me. Got to the ground around 19.30 queued for no longer than a minute then straight in, didn't even get searched. This was at turnstiles 28/29 though, the turnstiles for L block the queues looked ridiculously long.

Still much better organised than Brugge though.

Two younguns were in our queue  at gate 53 trying to gain access with thier season ticket cards lol

chancers

Saw quite a number of people in the ticket office who had done the same. I asked one guy whether or not he received his tickets in the post to which he said yes. He then said he was told that the tickets were loaded onto his ST lol Why would they send you a ticket and load it onto your ST?! Some people..

I don't really understand why the queues become so bad with paper tickets. Are people that stupid they don't know what to do without a season card?

It's exactly the same process. Granted a few didn't work, but the queues were mad compared to normal.

Queues were down to one thing no beer on concourse so everyone was getting to to the ground late (post a couple of beers)

at 7.20pm you could comfortably get to the snack bars Usually At 2.20pm on a league 3pm day the lines at the beer snack bars are usually extensive !

Very much true.

Just hope my other two tickets for the home games aren't going to have the same problem.

Heard someone behind me say that it would've been quicker to let staff to check your ticket then let you through, and it'd ''more economical to hire people than robots''.
