Manager/Player's 'Credit' With Fans

Of course they're trying. It's mental to suggest they're not trying. They're losing to much better teams is what's happening.

its like when know-nothings accuse England players of not showing PASHUN after every tournament. Even when the players and coaching staff are all different. They're just shit.

No, answer my question please - who cares that we're a 'laughing stock'? What does it matter what other people think?

"What does it matter what other people think" you ask. Well to a lot of people on here probably more than our title did last season.

You only have to look at the people moaning about other fans and pundits for half of last season. Oh and worry about what people think and say. lollollol

Get some Sean Dyche footage on and watch the CCU fill up at the Royal.

I think some care more about what others think than the do the team.

It seems to hurt a lot of our fans if other fans say we are sh1t or a pundit mocks us.

But they find it very easy to say so and so player is sh1t or calling the manager. Bless them poor little feelings.

But they don't think the said player may see them all saying he's just SH1T.

Yes Wes and Vardy are struggling this season I have said so but I would never call them SH1T.

Claudio is trying to change things from last season maybe too quickly. last season everything went our way and the stars aligned for once in a thousand years or so. this season was always going to be more difficult for a number of reasons. the manager and the players from last season will forever be in our hearts but they are professionals and need to get their focus back if they want more success they cannot rest on their laurels.they are fortunate to be involved in a profession they love and are adored and get paid handsomely for it so the least they can do is show some effort and pride in what they do and not slack off for anything

Just checked the credit in the bank and there is still plenty in there.

I know things aren't great at the moment, I mean apart from being unbeaten at home in over a year and having a 100% champions league record.

But give me a great escape, a title and then whatever the fvck this season brings over 3 top eight finishes

It isn't last season.

Yes, I do think our players were putting 100% effort in. It doesn't matter how hard they try, they will never reach last season's heights again.

We are just that much worse than those sides this season. Like we have been for almost every season of our history. Normal business has resumed, as it was always going to.

I've seen people in here suggesting that we are missing out on a historic opportunity to cement ourselves in the top six. It's nonsense. People need to recalibrate their expectations.

We won the league in part because every big club in the country underperformed massively. That was never happening again.

I see what you're saying mostly but the swing is too much. Chelsea were not unstoppable on Saturday. Nor were Utd the other week. They're nowhere near their great sides of 10-15 years ago. Liverpool fair enough, they battered us. But I don't accept the players are giving it the same effort as last season currently. Not even close.

England haven't been Champions of anything for half a century, whereas we currently are. It suggests we're not all that shit.

A lot of mistakes have been made. Managers, players. Maybe the club as a whole, fans and all, failed to think of where the logical 'next step' lay. We talked about what a lovely end it was to the fairy-tale and, well, that was that. Back to reality. It was hardly dream-sustaining to say 40 points was our primary target this year.

And owners too. Ranieri was lukewarm about the new cars. There's been the new contracts. Letting Walsh go. A chaotic approach in the market. Releasing then un-releasing Shakespeare to England. They've spent a lot of time in the limelight considering we're only famous because we're so comparatively under-resourced. Have they done things to upset the chemistry?

But if we recognise that all is not as it should be - and we should be doing much better in these games - then we can pull ourselves together and learn whatever the lessons might be. It can still work out beautifully, but it depends on us striking the balance between keeping our feet on the ground, and not giving up on moving forward.

I'm giving them until Christmas before deciding whether or not to start supporting Man Utd.

On a serious note in my opinion football is a profession now, you're as good as your form and if you can't do the job you should be replaced, like anyone else in any other job in the real world.
