What counts as "pitch side"... Like, on the side, at places such as Everton and Liverpool? I preferred Sunderland's old away but don't mind being at the top - it's not that bad of a view. But since Manchester City have extended the Etihad they've put away fans in all three tiers - so is this changed now? Or not because the lower tier can count as one block. ajthefox Posted 10 November 2016 Share Posted 10 November 2016 Pretty sure pitch side means anywhere next to the pitch, not on the side of the pitch.

Wymsey Posted 11 November 2016 Share Posted 11 November 2016 They say fans can't access pitch due to health and safety. But still allow Schlupp to shoot wildly into the fans at 100mph.
RonnieTodger Posted 11 November 2016 Share Posted 11 November 2016 It scares me when disabled supporters are pitch side. Fuchs twatted a clearance out last week and it knocked the woman's crutch over. Half a yard to the left and she'd be out cold with a broken nose and with no chance of moving out of the way

They should film the best ones and play them on the big screen before the game.
