Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 8 January 2017 Posted 8 January 2017 It struck me yesterday at Everton how many kids were in the back rows and couldn't see for everyone standing (the restricted view didn't help either). It Shouldn't be that hard for away clubs to position those with U11s in locations, such as in the front few rows of a tier/stand, where there is increased visibility. These types of considerations are made for those with disabilities, so why not those who are disadvantaged because of their height?! Though enforcing a no standing policy would also help. At home games there are family stands and, although I've never sat there, I suspect kiddies get a better view. Yesterday it seemed a bit perverse that they knocked down concessions for U11s to £5, presumably trying to capture that next group of fans, but the kids I was with were actually turned off - and a key reason for that was the view or lack of it.
Fox92 Posted 8 January 2017 Posted 8 January 2017 I think every away should just be unreserved. Said it before and still believe it. Naturally people who want to sit go to the front and those who stand go nearer the middle/back. Just don't print any seat or row number on the ticket. Because I've been to aways where people are still saying "I'm here" despite the fact it's unreserved.

Yesterday was a bit of a joke though.
Voll Blau Posted 8 January 2017 Posted 8 January 2017 Was stood in front of some kids at QPR away a few years' back. Offered to swap rows with their dad, but they said no. They were enjoying standing on their seats too much.

I just think a simple policy by away clubs would make it better for kids.

It would help our ends quite a lot in a broad sense.
Countryfox Posted 8 January 2017 Posted 8 January 2017 Kids should be given a big cushion when they enter the ground depending on their height .....
Finnegan Posted 8 January 2017 Posted 8 January 2017 You're more likely to get safe standing than unreserved seating tbh.
