Gerrbrand

Had the misfortune of my company asking me to be a host for the game in company box beneath main scoreboard. Saved a few quid but had to put up with clueless/baseless comments.

Best part was that i got a good look at Gerrbrand who was right in front of us, who i assume must have come on due to stearman injury?

Don't know how much you lot could see from far end, but would like to report that i was impressed.

First he is a very good size. As big as anyone else we have and an asset we are lacking.

Secondly he was very composed, extremely well balanced and had plenty of quality and therefore time on the ball.

Finally he made a brave clearing header off toe of big foreigner on right hand post near end and got a kick in head for his efforts.

What does anyone else think of him?

I wasn't at the game as I had the misfortune of my company sending me to watch Otley v Sedlegy Park at Rugby. Made me appreciate how good the Tigers and their set really is.

Welcome to the Board

Played well at right back after coming on. And provided a great pass through to Hume for the goal (i think).

yep it was his pass :)

pretty solid, i prefer stearman though

dont worry gerrbrand wont play at right back except when maybury and stearman are unavailable, unless kisnorbo moves across

to be fair we penned them back it their half a fair bit in the 2nd half, where as stearman was under a constant barrage in the 1st

What Ive seen of him I like.

Great pass for the Hume goal and he just looks like a calm player that likes to pass it around :D

with him and nisse at cb i think we will be more solid

Agreed. Especially because of the Swedish connection, they could get a better understanding of eachother.

not just that they seem better able to read the game and arent as rash as paddy mac (even though i do think he could become an outstanding player)

Yeh I agree again. Paddy is still inexperienced so he can hopefully learn.

you cant fault his commintment i think thats what won most fans over within 1 or 2 games, he seemed to actually care, where as the othwers around him didn't

:D

And perhaps there will be less shouting in defence?

Good to see that Totte Gerrbrand finally got the chance to play, and good to hear that most of you seems to like him as well.

I'm sure he's gonna show more confidence further on...

And right back is really not his best position.

In Hammarby he used to play middle back or maybe to the left, but I think he played a couple of games on the right some years ago though...

Cheers.

After that pass to Hume, I think he would be a good candidate for the holding midfielder role. :D;)
