foxes21 Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Carragher made a really good point how swansea/hull just sit really deep & compact against teams & play on the counter. He said surely we have the players to do this and I agree. Why aren't we just keeping 11 men behind the ball and grinding out results? We are trying to play out from the back with fuching Huth & Morgan & its awful. Swansea & Hull have a game plan we need to use.
lgfualol Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Teams probably give those two teams the space to play it in behind. I imagine that the first thing an opponent's manager will do when he sees Vardy in the line-up is tell the defence to not push up too high.

They know our ability to break. So they just play it around without committing men forward and slowly draw us out. In fact, it could be argued that teams are happy for us to have the ball high up the pitch as we are fairly easy to break on. we have been sussed out and have no options to change it.

That's what we're trying to do but we can't absorb the pressure so we're just horribly negative. Teams don't give us the space to play on the counter now so we can't just launch balls over the top. Hull and Swansea both got rid of their managers though.
Bayfox Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 I'll say it again. Back the manager in the window or sack the manager and try something new. We did nether. Swansea and dull sacked the manager. End off. Both now look better. Just saying.

Did you not watch us last season because that is exactly what we did look at it from a reverse point of view if you are playing Leicester after what happened last season what would your tactics be Simple terms (1) play a very deep line (2) do not press the defensive back line (3) stop supply to Mahrez or double up
