Thracian Posted 3 October 2005 Share Posted 3 October 2005 16 points from 8 games and top of the prem How to depress 20,000 hardcore City fans on a Monday morning. But......we don't wanna do that. We've got Ryan Smith
Ric Flair Posted 3 October 2005 Share Posted 3 October 2005 16 points from 8 games and top of the prem Yes but we'd just got rid of Stan Collymore, the worst news ever. We have Ryan Smith now, the best news ever.

Guest Posted 3 October 2005 Share Posted 3 October 2005 16 points from 8 games and top of the prem If we keep looking back like that, then we'll end being as bitter as the average Forest fan. Don't dwell on the past, look to the future!
Foxing_Around Posted 3 October 2005 Share Posted 3 October 2005 Don't dwell on the past, look to the future! Spot on, we are a mid table championship team at the moment (and will probably stay there or there abouts for the remainder of the season), however there is a large room for improvement with the squad we have. Katy Posted 3 October 2005 Share Posted 3 October 2005 It was a false dawn though Ross, not long after we were top of the Prem we got found out and came tumbling down again. I think we are on for bigger and better things now - onwards and upwards ay Turn a '-' into a '+'

The People's Hero Posted 3 October 2005 Share Posted 3 October 2005 Yeah but 2 goals conceded in 8 premiership games.... Can't be bad. We conceded that against Crewe this year.
City_4_Life Posted 3 October 2005 Share Posted 3 October 2005 Do you think we will ever be at the top of the premiership again?
Thracian Posted 3 October 2005 Share Posted 3 October 2005 Do you think we will ever be at the top of the premiership again? One thing at a time. Situations change, rules change. The Chelsea's/Arsenals could go into a super league, FIFA could organise the League on a fairer basis, one or two big names could go bankrupt... you never know. If we get ourselves a good team, play exciting football, make the club special again, get people wanting to come here, anything can happen. Let's get promoted first.
