Players might not be fantastic in a city shirt but i still and always support them 120% for as long as they play for Leicester. I have said it before - Gunnlaugsson like Durnez was a legend for me also. He was one of most talented and skillful players we had at the time and i balme MON for not playing him more till it was to late. When he played in the resys he was also solid - anyone remember that hatrick against Arsenal Reserves. I wont here a bad word said against Arnar.
lenny06 Posted 8 October 2005 Posted 8 October 2005 I myself was a big Arnie fan and I think its bit harsh to name him with the list of players mentioned. At the time Arnie was up against a midfield partnership of Muzzy and Lennon both at the time were said to be one of the best midfield pairings in the premiership. He could also play up front but MON preferred Heskey, Claridge and Cottee at the time and not alot of people would have argued with that.

Aye and you could'nt get rid of him but us mugs took him on and we can't get rid of him now and his picking up a pay packet for sitting on his arse these days .Summerbee was with us for a short time I don't remember him that well but he did OK for us,I take it he was crap for you though?

He was a central defender had a big build up when he arrived but would hardly make a tackle for us and was shipped out to Rangers after just 4 games for the same money later in the season and turned into some sort of wild man I remember of hearing about at least one opponent coming out of a tackle with a broken leg and loads of bookings (An example of Gegor at work)

He was on loan at Lincoln in the 2003-04 season, then declared Lincoln weren't big enough for him and went to Chester.
