Lineker's Left Foot Posted 7 October 2005 Posted 7 October 2005 Started watching City in the 1980s, my top 3 poor players in this category were.... 1. Kjetil Oswald (Norweigan on loan in 1988) 2. Rob Johnson (Pleat buy - cr*p) 3. Mick Kennedy - who we swapped with Bradford for Jimmy Quinn (doh !!) Always h*te Pleat for getting rid of Jimmy Quinn - tw*t !!!! P.S. We could do with him now at the age he was when playing for us
lookwhaticando Posted 7 October 2005 Posted 7 October 2005 I always hate Pleat because.. welll.... because he's Pleat - I just don't like him, he's a total tit. Now when I watch prem football (while listening to the foxes play) he's sometimes commentating - and he says such silly things at times, makes you wanna saw your ears off. Last week it was "He had the strength of mind to take the shot" or some rubbish. It wasn't until recently I realized he was an ex-manager of ours Glad I wasn't a fan in those days Nathan Blake was crap - or does he count?
De Vries The King Posted 7 October 2005 Posted 7 October 2005 Steve Howey. Only got a season ticket 3 years ago so that's my view over the last 3 years.
The People's Hero Posted 7 October 2005 Posted 7 October 2005 Ian Ormondroyd was cr ap. But also a legend.
lenny06 Posted 7 October 2005 Posted 7 October 2005 How about Michael Trotter? Brian Little buy from I think it was Darlington. How many of you remember him?
Austin Posted 7 October 2005 Posted 7 October 2005 freund!!!! Legend for starting with that bluenose twat ferguson!
Suffolk_fox Posted 7 October 2005 Posted 7 October 2005 Ian Ormondroyd was cr ap. But also a legend. The human Stick insect. I saw him take a swing at a shot, he missed the ball, his left swung back and kicked his standing leg on the back swing! But yes, a legend...
FNQ Posted 8 October 2005 Posted 8 October 2005 Rogers and the droid stayed too long for this category. Nicky Summerbee?
shen Posted 8 October 2005 Posted 8 October 2005 That attacker Taylor bought from the conference who only made one or two appearances... Junior Lewis, Paul Brooker, John Curtis, Chris Makin...and that's just very recenty times!!
Jay Posted 8 October 2005 Posted 8 October 2005 That attacker Taylor bought from the conference who only made one or two appearances... Junior Lewis, Paul Brooker, John Curtis, Chris Makin...and that's just very recenty times!! Kevin Ellision plays for Lincoln or someone similar now!
seventy_times_7 Posted 8 October 2005 Posted 8 October 2005 Anar Gunnlaugsson (sp?) has to be up there for the sheer amount of money spent on him. Although he banged in a long ranger now and again, he was largely terrible. Probably one of the worst MON signings.
Katy Posted 8 October 2005 Posted 8 October 2005 Haha Rob Johnson was bad but Tony Spearing was far far worse another Pleatite there. Lee Marshall more recently, although I felt a bit sorry for him
Albeano Posted 8 October 2005 Posted 8 October 2005 charlie miller, didnt play much for us but wish we could of kept him for longer
