Lost 3-4 to Newcastle via Golden Goal in 4v4 extra time. Eppiah (2) and Pascanu scored for City. So that's the end of that for this year.

Another decent tournament from a Eppiah. I can't remember Pascanu scoring many before but two in five games isn't bad. Isn't he in the Romanian under 23 national side? Hughes still showing he's a goal scoring centre half. I can't wait to see him in some first team games.

The Hong Kong Citi Sevens are an entertaining bit of end-of-season faire. But I wouldn't read too much into it from a player analysis point of view (from what I watched). Ten minute each way seven-a-side football on an artificial 80%-sized pitch is almost a totally different sport. I didn't learn much except that Darnell Johnson is Emile Heskey's Godson.
