He sounds a real promising young chap with his head screwed on. I particularly like the way that he's dealt with thanking Chester whose fans I bet are somewhat disappointed yet pleased and happy for him at the same time. I sincerely hope he does well here as it's fantastic stuff when players like Vardy come through via the lower leagues and gives young lads hope and dreams. Good luck to Chester also and I hope Sam keeps in touch with them when he hopefully becomes very famous!

Seems like we have a couple promising players with the U-23s at the moment. That's crucial for the long-term health of the club, and I'm pleased that we've been signing actively for the Development Squad. Can only mean good things in the future.

Appreciate there are chasms between our level and yours but he's got something special. He's not a typical non league clogger either, there's genuine class in there. With some further improvements from a higher standard of coaching he could be a Premier League defender within months not years.
