SouthLondonFox Posted 24 July 2017 Posted 24 July 2017 I don't know how reliable this is, but it would seem we have the lowest average net spend per season in the premier league era of all the teams in the top flight for 17/18: http://www.transferleague.co.uk/premier-league-1992-to-date/transfer-league-tables/premier-league-table-1992-to-date Apologies if a repost.
Danizen Posted 24 July 2017 Posted 24 July 2017 I'm struggling to work out how we've received £121m in transfer fees. Kante and Heskey aside, who have we sold for big money?

Roberts, Grayson, Calridge, Whitlow, Prior. Lots of smaller amounts that add up.

Our net spend was only 20m.. Not bad considering the muck we signed! Struggling to think who else we've sold for big money though.
SouthLondonFox Posted 24 July 2017 Author Posted 24 July 2017 Schlupp... There's a link at the top that shows all transactions by club
AyewJoking Posted 24 July 2017 Posted 24 July 2017 Don't forget arsenal gave us 20M for vardy but he decided not to go
rn9013 Posted 24 July 2017 Posted 24 July 2017 That's quite interesting. If accurate it makes our recent achievements all the more impressive given the way the market has gone in the last 10 years or so.
MrSpaM Posted 24 July 2017 Posted 24 July 2017 Neil Lennon for nearly 6 million in 2001, that's an absolutely crazy fee I wonder how much that'd be in today's money

FireFox Posted 24 July 2017 Posted 24 July 2017 "To date" ... yet the graph clearly shows "to 13/14". We're also 4th for the "last 5 years" (possible the five years up to 13/14).
