The only real improvement I can see is team talks, and they get boring and repetitive over time. I've got a 5 season save on '05 and I'd much rather continue with that. The match engine isn't too good either, read some posts on the fm forums, and it'll make sense

Not quite sure how you can think that

FM has added team talks, more player interactions, manager contracts, loads more screens especially for players i.e. the positions screen, new 'home' page, quick tactics during the game (very useful), new and simplier training module etc etc etc.

it sounds like you only play the game without looking further into the game. Are you one of those who just click continues without looking for new players, training, assesing the squad, media etc. You hsould look at the info available in the game and you will enjoy it a lot more. Plus, you wont see the full effect of some of the stuff until you have the full version!

Play.com £24.99

cant go to wrong with that price! Although last year it was £18! I probably wnt get it yet though because it will just ruin my first year at uni!!!

Believe me, I played fm2005 a lot, and knew it inside out. I just don't think 2006 is that much of an improvement. There are quite a lot of threads on the official fm forums that agree with me.

You can pre-order FM2006 from Tesco Extra for £25 (plus 1.65 P&P)

If you add the 'coupon code' XXHUHY at the checkout you will get a further £5 off.

This means you will get FM2006 for less that £22.
