First Direct Banking

Any fellow Foxestalkers bank with First Direct? 

 

I know they’ve been around a fair few years and they often offer a decent switching service with cash bonuses and overdraft etc! Their customer service is rated amongst the best! 

 

I’m tired of talking to people i can barely understand over the phone discussing bank details! Currently with TSB! 

 

So thinking of making the switch and would like to hear if anybody on here recommends them

Switched to them a while ago for the incentive, they were decent.

 

in today’s day and age of online banking you may as well switch to whoever offers the better deal as their isn’t much difference in any of them.

Been with them for donkeys years.

 

I'm on a flexi mortgage at a silly low rate. Not sure if the same deals about, talk of controlling them.

 

Google it.

 

I was able to just right a cheque to by a rental terrace, likewise a car would go on your mortgage. Can pay off quicker also

They are very good indeed. 

 

The app is great but when you phone up

for something it’s even better.  Never on hold, no bullshit either.  Tell them

what you want and they do it.  How it should be done.

Switched this year for £100 bonus, been great so far and a £250 overdraft at 0% interest should anything unexpected gets debited from your account

I used to be with first direct many moons ago, they were ok, I probably want their best customer. It was slightly annoying that the was no High Street banks though.

I've since been with Lloyd's for many years and can have no complaints about their customer service.

I think you'll find I was and still am their best customer. Certainly in looks anyway.
