In our promotion year with no streams (after I had relinquished my season ticket following the Troy Deeney playoff goal (a sad story))I then listened to the matches on the radio in the kitchen.

To take the tension out of listening to Skinners anecdote's and self love commentary I bought myself a spinner yoyo.

I got quite good! It's all in the wrist which gave me a head start.

Pokemon cards, crazy bones and finally matchattax were the tradable of choice in my my primary school days

Pro Yo 2 and Bumblebees were meant to be the best, at least according to everyone at our school

Diabolo's had their two weeks of fame

It was all about the Viper, and yup it had 8 ball bearings, 4 either side. The ball bearing assisted the yoyo with spinning, while you did your tricks.  I was quite an ace back in the day. 

 

Could do cats cradle and walk the dog etc
