I thought he was good today.

We have had some right crap in the last few weeks from the likes of Madley and Moss so great not to notice the ref much.

also did anyone see the linesman on the left side of us in the away end winding up the Liverpool fans

I tend to like Swarbrick because he lets games run more than most unlike twats like Moss and Madley who have to be centre of attention constantly. I don't think it was a particularly difficult game to ref though, he's just done his job.

Oh come on ffs

First of all the linesman gives throw ins.

Secondly it was dubious.

Thirdly just defend the bloody throw in.

Its nice to read a thread about a ref thats not tainted by the result though.

People always say the ref was brilliant in a 3-0 win. Ref was fine today irrespective of the result

I was sat in the Liverpool end in front of that liner and the Liverpool fans were giving him some proper shit. I agree though that the ref was good today but the Liverpool fans wouldn't agree. The ones sat around me were slating the ref all game. It is funny when you sit with opposition fans and see how they see the game totally different to you. To be fair the Liverpool fans around me were clueless idiots. My personal favourite today was when Albrighton scuffed the ball up in the air on the half way line and it somehow ended up at kasper. Guy behind me jumped up and shouted "****ing come on ref that was a back pass". Me and my nephew started pissing ourselves laughing and the guy turned to his mate and said "it was a definite back pass he did that on purpose"

That's down to the Lino.

Still debateable now whether it went out fully or not. I quite like Swarbrick, very rarely gets himself in the headlines like certain others.

Admittedly it was poor defending, but it certainly wasn't dubious! As someone else has said it was miles out.

It's down to the officiating team, of which the ref heads up. But yes, lino also culpable.

Personally didn't look to me like the whole ball was out. Even if the ball over hangs the line it is classed as in. Not miles out at all.

Seen highlights on MOTD and didn’t look conclusive from what they showed but I watched the game live on a stream from a Hong Kong television station and they showed an angle that proved the ball was out of play
