Sounds like you want screen recorder software of which there’s plenty of free examples online. Never used any myself though so can’t make a recommendation.

What type of PC are you using? Are you on a Mac?

 

All I know is that QuickTime Player gives you the option of recording on-screen video. You'd need a separate recording device for audio, though.

I've never used it before, but it looks like it can do the job and it seems to be for free.

 

Alternatively, why don't you ask if somebody else is recording the seminar?

I've just downloaded movavi and it does exactly what I want it to do.

Are you going to use Cisco WebEx for the seminar?
 

Screen recorder is fine, but you need to configure it to record input audio and output audio aswell.

 

I recommend Camtasia

I only need it for a one-off recording and Camtasia isn't free.
